Tennis and softball don’t usually mix, but on Saturday they did. Golden Bears Volleyball Coach Carla Wentworth and Co-Head Softball Coach Kacie Brabaw teamed up to win the women’s doubles in the Watertown Fall Classic Tennis Tournament.
The mother/daughter duo are no strangers to competition as Wentworth, a former DI Tennis player at Wichita State and Brabaw, a former DI Softball pitcher at Sacred Heart University combined their athletic skills to outlast the competition, winning two straight matches to earn the title.
