“It is always special when you can win your own tournament. The girls had a goal and they played hard and aggressive to earn the title. As a team we have taken some big steps to get better the last week and it showed today. EK is a very good team coached by Freddy Foster, a former player and student of mine from my days at Hermon-DeKalb. I am proud of what he has accomplished at EK. He gets a lot out of his girls and they are going to have a great season,” stated Coach Mike Wentworth The Bears will take a break for the holidays then be back in action on December 30th as they will travel to North Country Community College to play Saranac Central. On behalf of the entire Canton Athletic Program, Happy Holidays Everyone!
