The Canton Blades 14U Tier II TB team recently collected supplies and money for the St. Lawrence Valley SPCA.
The Canton Blades are a national tournament bound team in the hunt to qualify for the New York State Championship Tournament being held March 4-6 in Buffalo, NY. Members of the Canton Blades are: Aubrey Amo, Sophia Bruno, Kyra Collins, Eliza Creurer, Brynn Deshaies, Lauren Henning, Anna Hoose, Joie-Lynn Jabaut, Mia Jeneault, Bella Jolley, Ella Matejcik, Ella Mousaw, Abby Nee, Sophie Shoen, Madelynn Southwick, Taylor Stoll and Callie Tebo.
The team is also competing in the Great Lakes Girls Hockey League (GLGHL) this season and are on the road this weekend in Buffalo for three league games.
“I’m certainly a very lucky coach. I’ve got an amazing group of young ladies who not only work hard on the ice but are also supportive teammates and respectable humans off the ice in their schools and communities,” said Head Coach Mandie Mousaw.
