A road win for the still unbeaten Golden Bears varsity volleyball on Monday evening as they easily swept Madrid-Waddington in three quick sets, 25-8, 25-8, 25-11.
Outside hitter Ava Hoy had her work cut out for her contributing 8 kills, 12 aces, and serving up 14 points. Outside hitter Katie Bennett supplied 9 kills and 2 blocks.
Opposite hitter Riley Taylor added 1 kill, 1 ace, 2 digs, and 6 serving points. Setter Mattigan Porter had 12 assists, 1 dig and 5 serving points. Defensive Specialist Alyssa Jacob had 1 kill, 2 aces and 4 serving points. Middle hitter Julianna Richardson also had 1 kill, 4 aces, a dig and 4 points served.
Games like these have been all too familiar this season with the Bears consistently coming out on top with ease.
Tonight the girls play their last game of the regular season. The home game against Clifton-Fine starts at 6:15 pm.
Tonight is also Senior Night with seven seniors being recognized. Come out and support the girls in what has been a spectacular season!
