The boys JV soccer team traveled to Watertown to play the Frontier League powerhouse, Watertown Cyclones on Monday. The Cyclones have only been been beaten once in the last two years and that was by the Bears earlier in the season.

Watertown scored first early in the first half but the Bears rallied and added two Ethan Francey goals to put them up 2-1 going into the half. The second half was a different story as Watertown scored three unanswered goals to win the game 4-2. Jackson Ames finished the game with 12 saves.

“We have played very good all year long. This is actually the first game we have lost in almost two years. The kids played hard and they went down with class. We will move forward from here and see how we bounce back against Ogdensburg tomorrow night” stated head Coach Mike Wentworth.

The Bears will be back in action on Tuesday night in Ogdensburg. Game time is set for 6pm
