On a beautiful Thursday in Canton, NY, the modified boys were unable to cover a powerful offensive attack from the Red Raiders. While the bears offensive chances were there, they were unable to capitalize on these opportunities and left the field scoreless.
However, there were many positives to take away from the opening contest. Seventh grader Owen Logan was great in his goalie debut, recording 11 saves and leading the defense from start to finish. Eighth graders Zadok Roiger and Tyler Zebedee were great in their efforts, leading the Bears offensively.
The Golden Bears Mod boys are back in action on Monday, Sept 13 in Salmon River. Game time 5 p.m.
