The girls modified soccer team played Massena last Thursday and won 2-1. Madison Ayrassian scored both our goals and both were assisted by Olivia White.
“She scored the first one inside the eighteen and got a corner shot off. The second one was just a little bit outside the eighteen and got an overhead shot. I’m pretty sure she scored them in quarter 1 and 3,” noted a teammate about Ayrassian’s pair of goals.
Massena scored in the third quarter to draw within one of the Bears, but ultimately came up short in their comeback effort. Play was pretty even between the two teams with both teams having opportunities to score.
