Modified softball won over Malone Thursday night by a score of 26-14.
Tessa Alguire pitched the first three innings striking out nine. Marilisa Salvi- Miguel pitched three innings adding two strike-outs. Alguire also lead the Bears with three singles. Salma Moumen, Johanna Tupper, and Haley Perrin all added singles.
This brings Canton’s record to 9-1. The Bears will be back in action this afternoon against Gouverneur. The game is scheduled for a 3:00 pm start at home.
Don’t forget to stick around following the modified game to support the varsity team in their effort to capture the Section X Class B Championship. First pitch in that game is slated for 5:00 pm.
