The varsity boys baseball team traveled to Ogdensburg on Monday. The hot Bears were looking for their third straight win.
They scored four runs in the first then added three more in the second to take a commanding 7-0 lead. David Zuhlsdorf dominated the Blue Devils, keeping them scoreless through three innings. The Bears then added seven more runs to up the score to 14-0.
Sam Roiger made his pitching debut and went two innings with just one earned run. The Bears got the mercy rule win, 14-2 in 5 innings.
Scott Ahlfeld and Erich Zuhlsdorf comined for 5 RBIs, and Lane Rayburn added two hits to increase his team leading batting average to .412. The Bears travel to Massena on Wednesday to take on the Red Raiders.
