Canton hosted Hermon-Dekalb Monday night. The Golden Bears won 13-2.
Tessa Alguire pitched the first five innings striking out 14 and only allowing 1 hit. Marilisa Salvi-Miguel pitched the last two innings striking out two and only allowing two runs.
Offensively Cecily Shipman smacked a double for the Bears and Alguire added two singles. The next game for the Golden Bears will be on the road at Gouverneur on Thursday.
