Heuvelton beat Canton Saturday morning 61-41 after pulling away in the fourth quarter. Joe Wrobel led Heuvelton with an impressive 25 points scoring most of his points off transition breaks.
The Bulldogs put up an early lead, scoring 24 in the first quarter by outrunning the Bears. They kept the lead and maintained it through the rest of the game.
Jake Venette and Tristain Young also put up impressive stats with a combined 28 points between the two. Luke Wentworth had an impressive game putting up 20 points for the bears.
Heuvelton comes to the Houli dome Tuesday to try and sweep the Bears.
