Canton JV boys basketball used a balanced attack to beat Hermon-Dekalb for the second time this week, 49-22, at the brand new Demon Dome on Thursday. Sophomore Jayce Collins led the way offensively with 9 points.
Twelve of 13 Bears registered points. Forward Ayomi Odetoyinbo tallied eight points in the paint, while Nick Button and Jake Backus both netted six points.
The Bears led by just four points early in the second quarter, but pulled away on the strength of team rebounding, defense and fast break baskets.
Canton will play its next game on Monday against Potsdam in the Houli Dome.
