On Saturday the Lady Bears bested rival Potsdam 2-0, in a rematch of last years sectional championship.
The Bears scored in each half to complement a strong defensive effort from Hailee Duvall, Esther Shipman, Bryce Butterfield and Amelia Rodee. Amelia Rodee scored in the first half off a nifty wall pass from Sydnee Francis and Francis converted from Ester Shipman in the second half.
Etta Coburn played relentlessly on both sides of the ball in the midfield.
Bree Rogers made three saves in the shutout and Taylor Benda handled 10 shots for Potsdam.
