The Canton girls modified basketball team swept Potsdam Wednesday night in Potsdam. The eighth graders won 27-17 and the seventh graders were also victorious, but the final score was not available.
Katie Metcalf pumped in a team-high eight points to pace the Bears. Josie Gabriel had six points. Laurel Whittier contributed five points. Stella Shipman notched four points. Ava Ames had three, and Kyleigh Gollinger one.
Vivian Coburn led the seventh graders with 10 points. Sara Aldous scored five points and Winnie Downs had two.
The Bears wrap up their season on Monday, Feb. 10 hosting Ogdensburg Free Academy in Canton.
