The Canton girl’s modified basketball team swept OFA on Thursday night. The 7thgrade squad beat the Blue Devils 28-10, and the 8th graders put up their biggest point total of the season in a 51-30 win.
Vivian Coburn led the seventh graders with nine points. Winnie Downs went 2-for-2 from the free throw line and finished with six points. Cecily Shipman also had six points, Gracen Parker had three, and Sara Aldous and Haley Burnett chipped in with two points apiece.
Stella Shipman dropped in a season-high 17 points to pace the eighth graders. Josie Gabriel scored 13 points. Laurel Whittier added 12 points. Kyleigh Gollinger netted five, and Maysa Moumen and Ava Ames had two points each.
The Bears are back in action on Monday when they travel to take on the Massena Red Raiders.
