The Lady Bears lost a hard fought game to Potsdam on Wednesday night.
In losing the 6-0 decision, the Bears fall to 0-3 in league competition. The girls had a strong first period, containing a potent Potsdam offense and limiting them to just one goal. Potsdam broke open the scoring in the second period with three unanswered goals.
The Bears continued to keep the pressure on the Sandstoners into the third period but were unable to capitalize on several scoring opportunities.
Potsdam was able put two more goals past the Canton netminder in the third, leading to the 6-0 final score.
The Lady Bears travel to Clinton on Saturday for a non-league contest.
