On Saturday night, the Bears faced the Blue Devils in the Class B Section X Championship game. The first half was back and forth with each team having some close opportunities. Ogdensburg scored off a corner kick, late in the first half. The half finished at 1-0.
In the second half, the Bears were desperate to put one away. The team had many chances, but couldn’t get a goal. In his first game as goalie this season, Parker Hunt had an outstanding game with 15 saves. The game finished with a final score of 1-0.
Sportmanship winner for the Bears was Nick Estabrooks. Second Team All-Northern winners were Christopher Schuckers and Colin Taylor. First Team All-Northern was Andy Downs.
The Bears are ready for next year with many Juniors returning.
