On Monday afternoon, Canton varsity boys soccer wrapped their regular season with a game against Salmon River.
The Bears started off with Colin Taylor scoring a penalty kick early in the game. Shortly after, Matt Haycook then put one in the net off a cross from Colin Taylor. Salmon River scored two goals to tie it up at halftime.
Coach Matt Caufield recognized the three Seniors at halftime (Sam Fadden, Josh Kennedy, and Andy Downs). In the second half, it was scoreless until Colin Taylor passed it to Nick Estabrooks who put it past the keeper to give the Bears the lead at 3-2. Goalie, Chris Downs, and the defense played a great game for the Bears.
Playoffs for the Bears start next week at Salmon River.
