The Canton Boys JV Bears soccer team beat a very good Malone team Wednesday by the score of 4-0.
While the weather is getting colder, the Bears seem to be getting hot, winning seven of their last eight games. After a rather uneventful first half, aside from a missed PK, Canton found the offense in the second half. The saying says, “The best defense is a good offense” and that is exactly what the Bears did in the second half.
Josh Aldous turned up up a notch scoring two goals when the bears really needed them. Jack Kerrigan and Owen Hall both had assists on the night. Cooper Ladouceur and Twiggy Nelson Fuse found the back of the net and also had an assist to put the icing on the cake for the junior Bears. A great team effort helped Canton close out the game and win.
The Bears will next play against Brushton at home on Friday. Game time is 4 p.m.
