On Tuesday night, the Bears beat Potsdam 2-1.
Two minutes into the game, Andy Downs had a long-range unassisted goal that got the Bears rolling. Halfway through the first half, Colin Taylor scored off a pass from Nick Estabrooks. Potsdam scored in the last few minutes of the first half to put the game at 2-1.
In the second half, the Bears had an abundance of shots; however, the game was cut short because of lightning. The game was called with 20 minutes left in the second half. Chris Downs had 3 saves and Andrew Franklin had 5.
The Bears travel to Massena on Thursday to attempt to add another win to their record and close the gap in league standings.
