On Thursday night, the boys varsity soccer team tied Ogdensburg with a score of 5-5.

Ogdensburg struck early and scored two goals first. Nick Estabrooks put away two goals that kept the Bears tied up. Following a late goal by Ogdensburg, Colin Taylor put one away to finish the half and leave it at a 3-3 game.

The second half consisted of 1 goal scored by Colin Taylor and one goal scored by Andy Downs, which was off a free-kick. The game went into overtime with neither team scoring. Canton goalies, Andrew Franklin and Chris Downs, saved a combined total of 10 shots. Caleb Bentley-Hicks played strong defense to keep Ogdensburg from scoring.

The bears play in South Jefferson Saturday for one of their non-league. games.
